Toni has travelled extensively, spending time working in the UK and in Canada, travelling through most of the Pacific Islands and Australia, Toni has also visited, Hong Kong, the Philippines, Singapore, India, Russia, Lebanon and the US.

Toni previously assisted her husband to start up a manufacturing company and then managed it until it was sold 17 years later. Toni returned to the work force and and in the following 10 years was employed in various industries in senior management positions. Toni was then offered a position with a recruitment company finding work for newly arrived migrants, she found herself educating candidates as to issues surrounding interviews and work place attitude and cultures in New Zealand, completing Work Permit applications and dealing with various immigration and employment issues.

Toni decided to continue exclusively in the immigration field, obtaining her license just before Christmas 2010. Toni says she loves being able to make a positive difference to peoples lives, and says that clients often very quickly become friends and that is the best part of the job.

Toni was appointed as a Director of NZAMI (the foremost professional body for advisers and lawyers) where for several years she has worked to assist other Advisers an Lawyers on a  professional basis and has also been a member of the IAA reference group for several years working to ensure professional standards are maintained and where possible improved.

In 2015 Toni was awarded the prestigious Immigration Adviser/Lawyer of the Year, this award is given every two years to recognise an outstanding professional individual who is a Licensed Immigration Adviser or Immigration Lawyer who has enhanced the migration profession. To be eligible the nominee will have contributed to the industry by their notable work in assisting migrants during the previous 3 years. The Team at A1 are extremely proud of her achievements and in particular of this award for Toni.

Tim Malcolm joined A1 Immigration Ltd in May 2015, he has eight years previous experience as an Immigration Adviser, prior to joining A1 immigration Tim spent a year working as a recruitment consultant then returned to his first passion – immigration.

As one of the first advisers to gain a license, Tim brings a unique knowledge of Immigration policy and instructions gained from many years in the industry and has successfully helped hundreds of migrants achieve their dreams of living in New Zealand.

Tim manages all types of Immigration applications from temporary (Work, Student and Visitors visa) through to residence (Investor, Entrepreneur, Family and Skilled Migrant) visas.

Prior to working in the immigration field, Tim was the owner of the very popular Solaris Café on the Tutukaka Coast in Northland, his enthusiasm for exceptional client service has never waned.

Andy Joined the A1 Immigration Ltd team in February 2017. He began his career as an immigration consultant in 2007 and gained his License as an Immigration Adviser in February 2009. He has more than 10 years of experience helping migrants to achieve their dreams in NZ.

Prior to becoming an Immigration Adviser Andy was a Warranted Immigration Officer with Immigration NZ from 2003 to 2007, where he gained a broad understanding of immigration instructions, policies and processes. This background allowed Andy to utilise his knowledge and experience by providing a balanced and calm approach that supports and guides migrants through the sometimes challenging immigration processes.

Andy is able to assist with all immigration application types from temporary visas through to resident visas and including Section 61 requests, Special Directions, appeals to the Immigration and Protection Tribunal and the Ombudsman.

Adele emigrated to New Zealand 17 years ago with her 3 children from the UK after marrying a Kiwi on his OE. Settling into a new country was a long and difficult process, but Adele says it has been more than worth it. She loves living here and says raising her children in the Kiwi lifestyle has been worth all the hurdles. She now can’t imagine living anywhere else.

Adele joined the A1 team in October 2016 in the administration support and reception role, and she says she enjoys supporting the advisers here who help people on their own journey to living and working in this fantastic country.

Don commenced his career as a Roading Engineer, going on to study Civil Engineering at Auckland University, his career then spanning over 40 years has seen him owning and managing businesses in areas as varied as the textile industry through to the building industry.

He has had the opportunity to travel and meet people from all walks of life. Don’s empathy for migrants and the process they go through along with his excellent attention to detail makes him the ideal General Manager for A1 Immigration.
